Don't worry, Brock will disarm us.

Last week, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) revealed that they had possession of Iranian documents dating from 2004 containing a drawing showing how to make part of an atomic warhead and its delivery system. They called this development “alarming.” Would that anyone might notice, much less be alarmed.

Furthermore, the documents indicate a clear and sole military purpose to the atomic technology involved – as if there were any peaceful purpose for a nuclear warhead. This runs directly counter to the repeated denials made by Tehran that their known uranium-enriching program was for domestic energy production. And this enriching will soon be up to 6,000 centrifuge cascades, meaning they would have sufficient fissile material to detonate this warhead by this autumn.  [continue The World Dithers While Iran Goes Nuclear]

Makin' Bacon with Juice

I'm turning the lights out now.

Here's the results of Juice's foray into doing ribs.  Quite impressive.  Yum-Yum.

These were my second attempt at baby back ribs and Teresa has the method I used in an email I sent her. TFV, it was the vinegar marinade, etc.  Teresa had mentioned preferring dry rub w/o the sauce, and although you see sauce in the photo, these ribs had none.  Mr Juice put sauce on his serving, I chose the dry.  Rodger, your rub recipe is the BOMB!  I had mixed up a batch w/o salt because I had brined the first rib attempt. It was fabulous anyway and we'll be using that Schlongs's Famous Rub for quite some time.  All this has sprung from that porknography post.  Your Blog Rodger, is the Best Ever!  And truly attracts only the finest of people. :))
Thanks to both of you wonderful folks!!

Joyce

p.s.  I did prep Bull's-Eye with Jim Beam and it smelled and tasted great (was used on attempt #1).

Obama Unglued
With all their maneuvering, the Donks are saddled with two losers.

There is an argument to be made for America’s never-ending presidential campaign in that it tests a candidate in a variety of different ways.  ... Judging by what has transpired this week for Barack Obama and his suddenly faltering campaign, one would think the candidate would have had a bellyfull of untoward occurrences, staff gaffes, bad luck, and perhaps a touch of incompetence on the part of the candidate himself.

It began Monday with Obama’s worst performance before the national media to date. The candidate has been chided in the past for his lack of press availability so perhaps the media was a little on edge as Obama, smiling, stepped up to the podium.

He wasn’t smiling when he stepped down 15 minutes later. After a staffer called out “Last question,” Obama didn’t even wait for the query but instead, stomped away while the press roared out a cacophony of questions about Tony Rezko and the NAFTA flap at the retreating candidate. Opening himself up to derision, the candidate turned back briefly and with a forced smile on his face, pleading with the press, “C’mon guys. I answered like 8 questions.”

The Chicago Sun Times, whose reporters were a big part of making the presser an uncomfortable experience for the candidate, taunted Obama; first, with a piece that featured the phone number of the newspaper in the headline asking the candidate to call in and answer questions about his relationship with Tony Rezko – this after Obama said that he had been unable to sit down with reporters about the matter. Then today, the Sun Times takes Obama to task for only answering 8 questions: ...

The Rainbow Coalition Evaporates
Black anger grows as illegal immigrants transform urban neighborhoods.

“I have gone on the streets and talked to people at random here in the black community, and they all ask me the same question: ‘Why are our politicians and leaders letting this happen?’ ” What’s got Anderson—motto: “If You Ain’t Mad, You Ain’t Payin’ Attention”—so worked up isn’t the Jena Six or nooses on Columbia University doorknobs; it’s the illegal immigrants who allegedly murdered three Newark college students last August. And when he excoriates politicians for “letting this happen,” he’s directing his fire at Congressional Black Caucus members who support open borders and amnesty for illegal aliens. “Massive illegal immigration has been devastating to my community,” Anderson, a former auto mechanic and longtime South Central Los Angeles resident, tells listeners. “Black Americans are hit the hardest.”

Though blacks have long worried that the country’s growing foreign-born population, especially its swelling rolls of illegal immigrants, harmed their economic prospects, they have also followed their political leadership in backing liberal immigration policies. Now, however, as new waves of immigration inundate historically African-American neighborhoods, black opinion is hardening against the influx. “We will not lay down and take this any longer,” says Anderson. If he’s right, it could upend the political calculus on immigration.

" ... isn't the  Jena Six or nooses on Columbia University doorknobs  ... ." Why would either of these contrivances make blacks mad?  That aside, there may be racism in the country, but dammit we have done more to address it than any civilization in history.  From my vantage point, near 100% of today's racial incitements come via blacks themselves, guilt ridden or Machiavellian liberals, and Hispanic comedians.  In fact, if a virus killed every white liberal tonight, the healing would begin in the morning.

The state of Maryland

Here's insight into the corrupt and heavy-handed nature of Maryland's democrat party controlled gummint . Will the taxes be abated?  Not a chance, but a cursory read of this article demonstrates the  scofflaw attitude that prevails.  Several years ago, after it became apparent that voters would not okay tax measures to build the Raven's football stadium, we awoke one morning to discover that Gov. Schaeffer and his Annapolis mafia had simply decreed them in the dead of night.  I know what you're saying, "But Rodge, you get the gummint you vote for."  Nope, not even that is a sure thing in Maryland.

Carroll judge lets new taxes proceed

ANNAPOLIS — A package of taxes and fees passed during the recent General Assembly special session took effect yesterday after a Carroll County judge declined to impose a stay while a lawsuit challenging the validity of the session makes its way through the courts.

Smokers yesterday started paying $1 more per pack of cigarettes, while taxes increased for car buyers, corporations and high-wage earners. A penny increase in the state sales tax is to take effect tomorrow.

Republican legislative leaders are still awaiting the outcome of a long-shot legal case that could overturn the tax increases.

Irwin Kramer, the lawyer representing five Republican lawmakers and a Carroll County businessman who brought the lawsuit, is scheduled to depose the key witness (chief clerk of the House of Delegates, Mary Monahan had been in hiding) in the case this morning in Annapolis.

Mr. Kramer has taken the unusual step of requesting a judge be present when he deposes chief clerk of the House of Delegates, Mary Monahan, because he thinks lawyers with the state Attorney General's Office will try to block questions during the deposition.

"I know when I ask the first question they are going to say, 'Don't answer that,' " he said yesterday.

The case, based on an obscure provision of the state constitution that lawmakers may have (oh, they did) violated during the frenzied session in November, has turned on charges that someone may have doctored the House Journal in an attempt to conceal the constitutional misstep.

But even if Carroll County Circuit Court Judge Thomas F. Stansfield rules in favor of the plaintiffs and finds that the Senate adjourned without the proper authority, it is far from certain whether he will invalidate the tax increases and the slot-machine gambling referendum approved during the session.

She Keeps Going and Going and ....
Ain't no one got no plunger?

Excrement That Will Not Flush
In his book Carl Bernstein writes that White House adviser George Stephanopoulos described Hillary Clinton's responses to the White House Travel Office case, and other scandals, as "Jesuitical lying."  That left a  a lot of people scratching their heads  there were a millin guesses, mine is Stepho used jesuitical lying in lieu of the more direct Clinton Speak, meaning Bill &Hill  perfected the use of constructs that deceived without lying.  You're familiar with it.
  • "I don't believe you'll find evidence of that"
  • "Then why did famous Professor of [insert discipline Bruno Schmutz write that it was "utterly brilliant."?
  • "You know Barbara, I'm not even going to answer that stale accusation.  It was dismissed years ago"
  • "I don't think there's any record of that Bernie."
  • Hey, what's that?  Over there?" *swoosh*
Add  Pharisaical   to  Jesuitical and you're getting close, but still not quite there.  Take Travelgate.  Hillary lied under oath to investigators, saying she had nothing to do with the Travel Office firings.  At the same time, longtime Clinton aide David Watkins was singing like a canary to the FBI, detailing Hillary's lead role (click for full PDF transcript).. When Independent Counsel Robert Ray issued his final report on Travelgate, he found that that Hillary Clinton had made factually false statements but there was insufficient evidence to prosecute her.

How many times has this happened in the past 15 years?  It's still happening.

This is why half the country says they will not vote for her in any circumstance.  Hell, O.J. Simpson is only "Hillary Lite."

Andrew Charles Hendricks

Today's Olympic Jerk-off
Olympia's Nazi Brigade C.I.C.
Andrew Charles Hendricks
Hendricks, 37,  thinks he's an officer in some MFCS Ratbastardcommie People's  Brigade.  Considers himself armed with deadly hands¹

¹severe palm acne, prolly

Last week we linked you to audio testimony by a bunch of leftist dickweeds who tried to stop the Army from loading supply ships in the Port of Olympia.   The meeting was called by  Councilman T.J. Johnson, a member in good standing of Olympia's ratbastard commie community, and a graduate of Columbine High School - where I don't think he was a gunman but who knows if they all suicided?  Anyway, as I continue to peruse the testimony (I know, but it's like watching a train wreck), I find these people are a joke that never stops. Take Charles (Drew) Hendricks.  He and Robert Whitlock are the organizers of this band of anarchists.  This is how Hendricks began his "testimony."

"My name is Andrew Charles Hendricks, I was commissioned in 1986 as an  intelligence officer in an underground revolutionary organization .."

Can you imagine me appearing before congress and saying, "I am Rodger Schlong.  In 2002 I was commisioned as B-52 driver in the Barn Army of the United States," and not being bitch-slapped until I soiled myself?  Sheesh.  But wait, there's more. Here's the finishing flourish from this deranged nazi wannabe.

"I am trained to kill open-handedly ...  I can't be on the line with you because I don't want to act (on it? garbled)"

Wild applause.

Woot-Woo. Lock the doors granny! In between he tells of the  "arrest" he made of some truck drivers, blah-blah-blah.   You want to laugh at them, but they've declared war on the duly constituted government of the United States, and are thus RICHLY DESERVING of attention from the Ohio National Guard.   In the great country we once were, and can be again, anyway.

"Hey, [fornicator], what are you staring at?"

"Your tits.  How much for your tits?"
Whether they're the same flesh, or not, they are together the embodiment of today's brain-vacuumed liberal social commenter.  Here. for example, is one of Sarah's school girl  Huff & Puff entries:

I’m already feeling pretty annoyed that the cheapest way I can get to Leon, Mexico for a conference on feminist resistance to U.S. imperialism and corporate globalization is by flying through RONALD REAGAN NATIONAL AIRPORT AND GEORGE BUSH INTERCONTINENTAL AIRPORT.

The Humanity! Donald Graham [I'm guessing] read that and instructed the nearest  minion at the WaPost to "Sign her before Sulzberger does!"     I also guessed that Sarah squeezed in a journalism degree from Barnard College amidst bouts of  world-wide liberal windmill tilting, and her biggest shock in life, so far, was discovering that anything good in the world existed before her birth, if indeed she has learned it yet.

I erred.  She went to Yale, and is now 22 years old. Yesterday she endowed us with the fruit of  her life experience,   "Drinking. Brawling. Hurting." The upshot of this WaPost article is that Bush's criminal warmongering has given birth to a social phenomenon, to wit: drunken soldiers having bar fights. Which brings to Warner Todd Huston's "WashPost: Our Wounded Troops all Drunks, Substance Abusers." He does a nice job unfrocking this dewberry.   After reading her breathless, and overwrought opener, I'm famished for a bowl of fruit.

New York Times Editor Admits: We Slanted the News to push withdrawal from Iraq

(CNN.Com) A former Times news editor admits:
"We slanted the news towards a withdrawal from Iraq - because we had sons
there."

Speaking at the Journalists Conference on Saturday several former and current
news editors and reporters  discussed the tremendous influence they nearly all agreed they had on The United States  national agenda.

That's an actual news item, but I changed the media and location from the Israeli Broadcasting Authority and Lebanon. to something we can more easily relate to.  Here's the Actual report. This news drives home the power a nation's media exerts, and if allowed to run amok can guarantee defeat.  The broadcasters involved should face years in prison, if not a firing squad.  When the Bush Administration backed off charging New York Times editors with treason when they disclosed  our al-Qaeda tracking methodology, it sent the message that they're still playing something of a game,  not waging war.  The American media are certainly at war with our elected government, and they have no boundaries.
